V-Soft Consulting Group Inc. President, Purna Veer, has been included in Louisville Business First’s Power 50 list for 2022, a compilation of the most influential business leaders in the Greater Louisville business community.
The nominations for Power 50 list for 2022 were solicited from the public as well as from Louisville Business First’s reporting and sourcing. Publisher Lisa Benson and Louisville Business First Editor-in-Chief Shea Van Hoy then sifted through the entries to come up with a list of 50 most influential business leaders.
Louisville Business First lauded Veer for his many business ventures throughout Louisville. Veer is the co-founder and President of V-Soft Consulting Group Inc. which is one of the largest minority-owned businesses and one of the largest IT consultant groups in Louisville. Under his leadership, V-Soft’s new $12 million headquarters is nearing construction and the organization plans to relocate from its current location to the new building in 2022. Veer is also the owner of the popular Indian restaurant Tandoori Fusion and owns Veering Creek Farm and Pravasa Vineyards and Winery.
Veer has been extensively involved with Greater Louisville Inc (GLI), Louisville’s Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the executive committee of GLI and since 2016 Veer has served on the board of directors. He held the chair of GLI’s annual Glide trip in 2020 and in 2021 served as the chair-elect and chair of the plan implementation committee. In 2022, he was appointed as the chair of the GLI board of directors.
Veer expressed his gratitude on being awarded the recognition and thanked the publication for the honor and his team and members of the community for the continuous support. “I promise to continue our mission of engaging the community, forging new relationships and adding meaningful contributions to Louisville,” Veer said.
