V-Soft Consulting CEO Purna Veer has been recognized with a Mosaic Award honoring “new or first-generation immigrants and refugees who are making a significant contribution in their professions and in our community.”

Veer, who is a first-generation immigrant from India, started V-Soft Consulting in Texas in 1997 and has since grown the company to more than 1000 employees in offices across North America and India, including Louisville, Chicago, Denver, Harrisburg, Madison, Toronto, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Praised as a “renaissance man,” while building the technology and staffing company, Veer opened Tandoori Fusion, a successful Indian Restaurant in Louisville; Veering Creek Farm, the largest hops yard in Kentucky; and a winery, coming soon.

In addition to all of this, Veer has developed a culture of giving and community service within all his ventures. V-Soft Consulting hosts an annual charity golf scramble to raise money for local non-profits focusing on cancer patients in honor of his late mother. V-Soft also hosts numerous fundraisers throughout the year and commits to at least two community service-based team building events every year.

Veer will be honored alongside Haitian musician James Racine, healthcare executive from Trinidad and Tobago Keisha Deonarine, founder of Beaded Treasures from India Surekha Kulkarni, and Holocaust survivor and education advocate Fred Gross.

“It’s truly my honor to be recognized alongside those who are making an impact on the community I call home. I’ve lived in Louisville for over 20 years and I’m proud of the roots I’ve created here,” said Purna Veer.

The Mosaic Awards will host a reception and dinner at the Marriot Hotel Ballroom on May 23rd. All proceeds of the event will benefit the Jewish Family and Career Services.
